The mural &ldquo;Cultural Fusion&rdquo;, created in December 2024 by artists Alain Welter (Luxembourg) and Lionel Ogoudjobi Attere (Benin), symbolizes the alliance between the two countries. The crowned red lion of Luxembourg carries Beninese panthers dressed in tourist attire on its back, representing Luxembourg&rsquo;s support for the development of tourism in Benin.
The artwork also features symbolic statues: the Beninese Amazon, paying tribute to women and the Agooji culture, and Luxembourg&rsquo;s G&euml;lle Fra, dedicated to fallen soldiers. Finally, the inclusion of assens&mdash;ancestral Beninese figures&mdash;symbolizes a spiritual blessing to strengthen diplomatic ties.
A truly enriching multicultural project!
